The third part of the series of puzzles about building bridges turned out to be even more ambitious and complex than previous releases. We talk about the new 2 play games in a short review.
Poly Bridge 3 is a continuation of the line of bridge building simulators, the first part of which was released back in 2016. A physics- based puzzle sandbox awaits you, where you need to get vehicles from point A to point B using a bridge.
At your disposal is a large selection of tools from which you can create the most incredible designs. At the same time, it is desirable to fit into the given budget, but the 2 play games does not limit its excess, so you can give free rein to your imagination. The main thing is to complete the task, the rest is secondary.
The conditions are often complicated by the presence of additional factors: for example, a yacht with a high mast will sail along the river, or you will lack some materials. Here you have to be smart: add hydraulic lifts, build a springboard or something else.
In this case, of course, it is necessary to take into account the physical properties of different elements: remember that metal structures make the bridge heavier, cables need strong supports, and wood breaks easily. You can go through a lot of options, time after time watching how your bridge collapses or the car crossing it flies into the abyss, until the very ideal formula is found that will allow you to solve the puzzle.
Luckily, Poly Bridge 3 is quite player-friendly: it highlights structural weaknesses, allows you to quickly build entire spans and copy parts of the bridge, and also contains hints - three ready-made options at each level, relying on which you can build your bridge. And it doesn’t even penalize you for looking at the solution.
The campaign contains 11 levels, each with at least 10 challenges. At first, the 2 play games seems pretty easy, but the difficulty curve quickly rises, and already on the "two-star" tasks you can get stuck for a long time, not to mention the most intricate "three-star" ones. However, if you like to break your head over engineering puzzles and admire beautiful landscapes, Poly Bridge 3 is what you need.
