Have you ever played a game, where all of a sudden you earned or could implement a power-up? Something that gives you extra power in the games and allows you to perform stronger or skip forward. These Power-Ups can be earned or can be assigned randomly, that is your choice. It adds an element of surprise and also reinforces the chances of a positive outcome.
If you are running a loyalty scheme, where could you let members gain power-ups so they get to the next level quicker or earn the right to pass to the next level by skipping something. Typically in a game you are required to activate the power-up so you could have a specific actions that earns members specific additional points.
