Feminine gamification viewpoint: the power of an image

In the past few days these images of ladies in positions of power with the men edited out kept appearing on my Facebook newsfeed. When you then look at the caption it just explains, where the woman in question is sitting and that the men were edited out. It is a powerful way of sharing a message, which is exactly what Elle UK wants to do with their #morewomen campaign. Have a look for yourself:

In gamification I think we often overlook the opportunity t0 use images in favour of game mechanics or even animations, but images can explain so much as these ones do. It can overcome language barriers too.
