Teach people how to interact with you, just like a game would teach you how to play it. In business we make a lot of assumptions about interactions and processes. We expect customers and employees to second guess what you expect of them on a day-to-day basis, but what if they never had that experience before? What if you are completely new to your kind of business?
I remember trying to show my dad on the phone how to buy my book on Amazon. To this day I am not convinced he managed to do it. He did send links to his connections, but I sent him a physical copy of my book, because for someone that has never bought online, setting up an account my seem second nature for digital natives, for those of other generations or born with a lower tech understanding this may be one stretch too far.
