Feminine gamification viewpoint: how equal is your following?
In the quest for equality between genders, some fun ways of tracking are popping up. In my social media I track the gender of followers and on Facebook my following is a 70/30 split towards female, however on Twitter it is the exact reverse.
In my recent research for the Gamification World Meetup in Scandinavia, I came across Twee-q, which allows you to find out how your twitter handle does in terms of gender equality. It looks at the balance of retweets and gives you a positive message about what you can do about it. I used it last week and came out better than this week, so it’s fun to check the trend:
